Ben and Jodi Stabe's Redfield SD wedding

Ben and Jodi were married in Redfield South Dakota. Jodi is originally from Redfield, but Ben is from Germany. What a privilege it was to take Ben and Jodi, plus their family and friend's photos. Ben's groomsmen and many of his family members traveled from Germany to be present for their special day. Their minister from Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Redfield, repeated every sentence in both the English and German language so both sides of the family could understand the service. What a unique experience this was for everyone present as they exchanged their vows! Here are just a few of my favorite shots from their wedding.

Addyson and Olivia

Little Addyson came in for her 1 year portraits along with her big sister Olivia who will be turning 5 soon. What sweet little girls they are! Olivia has been a regular since she was tiny and always has her favorite props when she comes to my studio. What a memory she has, she always remembers the props she used from the year before! It has been fun to watch her and now her sister grow into young ladies! I also took Addyson's portraits last year when she was just a baby. Here are a few of my favorite shots from their portrait session.

Rowan and Isla

Ok, these are actually my grand babies! Little Rowan did not want to take her picture this day because she wanted to help grandma "Run" the camera's. We did manage to get a couple of shots of her and her sister in spite of Rowan not being a happy camper about being on the other end of the camera. Isla was 6 months and Rowan 3 in theses photos.

The Smith family

Reta and Sylvan Smith came in with their family celebrating 50 years of marriage! Since my studio is not really big enough to accommodate a large family, we took it outside for some fun shots with their convertible. This included a couple shots of their first great grandchild, Bella. Here are a few of my favorite shots from their session.

Mason

There is nothing more precious then taking the first portraits of a new baby. I am always amazed at how beautiful each baby is and how unique they are. No two babies are ever a like. Little Mason is such a cutie, and what an expressive face. He seemed to be talking to him Mom and Dad through his expressions. Here are a few of my favorite photos from his portrait session.

The Stucke family

I had the privilege of taking Mike and Lindsey's wedding photos a few years ago. It is always fun when my bridal couples return with their families for portraits. What little cuties their girls are! I especially love the shot of Nevaeh in her "princess clothes" in the old fashioned car!

Austin

Here are photos of little Austin who just turned 1. This smiley little guy is also about as cute as they come. And what a little charmer he was. Here are a couple of my favorite photos from his shoot.

The Moody family

Little Karter is celebrating is second birthday. He was so adorable riding the little antique rocking horse. He kept getting bucked off (he recently was at the rodeo where he watched the cowboys being bucked off.) So I had to get a shot of him on the floor after his horse bucked him off! This very busy little guy was super fun to work with. Here are a few of my favorite shots from his photo session,

Jessica

Here is another young lady whose senior portraits I recently took. Jessica is a country girl at heart, but we ended up taking a few alley shots as well. She also did a trash the dress shoot which was lots of fun. I will be posting later about that! Here are a few of my favorite shots from here session.

Chesney and Easton

I had the privilege of taking Samantha and Jeremy's wedding photos a couple of years ago so what a joy it is to be able to work with them and their growing family again. And grow it did! They were blessed with twins. I asked them how they are managing and both said "just fine." To them twins is just the norm! Here are my favorite photos from their session, I think everyone will agree they were blessed with two very beautiful little babies.
