Isabelle and Lincoln

This is a recent session I took of Lincoln and 4 month old Isabelle.  The session was suppose to be for little Isabelle who was 4 months old, but Lincoln was loving every minute of being in front of the camera so I ended up taking a few photos of him too. Some of my favorite photos were taken outside in the pasture with the yellow weeds which were in full bloom.  I also took a special photo of Isabelle and her mom Roxanne.  What makes it special is Isabelle is wearing the little dress Roxanne wore when she was a baby! Mark and Alyssa Engagement session

This is a recent engagement session I took of a couple who will be married in Mellette South Dakota in October, 2010.  Both Mark and Alyssa love the outdoor so we took most of the engagement photos in the outdoors. What a super couple they are, full of fun and life and "miss Alyssa" is also full of mischief! I get the impression there will never be a lack of fun and excitement with this couple! I can hardly wait to shoot there wedding since I am sure it will be a great time for everyone present. Here are a few of my favorite shots from their engagement session.

Tracy and Jeff's Hecla South Dakota Wedding

This is a recent wedding I shot in Hecla South Dakota. What a neat couple Tracy and Jeff are.  Both love to have fun and it was evident in everything they did on their wedding day. This was also special for me since I shot Tracy's older sister Jessica's wedding when she married Jon in 2006. It is always wonderful to see the people from a previous event like the Elsen family! Tracy and Jeff's engagement shoot was on a playground since that was how Jeff proposed to her. On this day, we did manage to finds a swing to incorporate into their photos plus all the local flavor we could find in Helca SD! I can not tell you how much I enjoyed this day.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from their wedding day.

Alyssa

Here is another recent senior session I shot. Alyssa is a super nice, easy going young lady and I enjoyed every minute I spent photographing her. She is an active 4-H member who shows dogs and just happened to bring her show dog Tess with her. One of my favorite moments came at the end of her session while we were shooting a small "trash the dress session" in a nearby lake and Tess joined her in the lake.  I think she was rescuing Alyssa from the water!  Here are a few of my favorite shots from her session.

Katie

This is another recent senior session I shot.  Katie is a very laid back, easy going young lady and I enjoyed working with her immensely. One of my favorite props which she brought with her was a guitar. We took most of the shots near the studio using the barn, lake , and fields as our backdrops.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from her session.

The Bindenagel family

Here is a recent location family session I shot. I was contacted by Kelly, one of Joel and Diane's daughters, to come to the family farm to take photos of each individual family plus the entire group in celebration of their parents 40th wedding anniversary. We ended up with a fairly windy day, which is evident from some of the tousled hair shots, but  managed to get some really nice shots of their families. I loved seeing their farm and meeting all of their families. There are 10 grandchildren under the age of 10 and I am sure both Joel and Diane love every minute they get to spend with those precious grand children! We took shots near their favorite tree, buildings,  some in a nearby pasture, plus one of my personal favorites was a "sun flare" shot taken on a pile of woven wire. These are just a brief few of my favorite shots from their session.
