This wedding was shot in Watertown South Dakota in early June. I have to say there are crazy weddings, then there are crazy weddings. What a crew! I can not tell you how much fun I had on this particular day. The wedding reception was held at Lunkers on the lake and what a magnificent view! After the wedding this group really "played" on the water, I think a groomsmen was even swimming in his tux (actually I thin he was thrown in). Here is a recent Newborn session I shot of a couple I have know forever. Jessica grew up in Chelsea and was a close friend to my daughter. I took her senior portraits, daughter Nevaeh's photos, had the wonderful privilege of meeting Adam and taking their wedding photos and and now the privilege of taking Jamison's newborn photos. There is something very special as a photographer to be able to follow people through out their lives and (I hope) record the precious moments with photos along the way. Both Jessica and Adam are in the military so we actually shot quite a few photos in the America tradition with a flag as the back ground. Here are a few of my favorites from this session.

Here is a super fun couple who will be married in Arlington South Dakota on Feb 4, 2012. We decided to shoot their engagement photos in Brookings South Dakota and had a blast doing it. Cody works on the wind turbines so we decided it would be fun to take their photos with the turbines in the background. Some of those images were actually my favorites, as well as the couples favorites. It did not matter where we took their photos, they were just plain fun to work with. I am excited for their wedding since they are both snowmobilers and will have snowmobiles at their wedding, hmm........... wonder what kind of crazy shots we will have with those!
