Here was another fun South Dakota Family Session at Carmen's Photography.  This family was so much fun I can not tell you how much I enjoyed working with them.  I could tell immediately when I started working with them how close they are which I hope shows through in their family portraits.  These are just a few of my favorites from their session.

Carrie and Brendan's maternity session with Carmen's Photography

Here was a recent maternity session of a form er wedding couple of mine.  I absolutely loved working with Carrie and Brendan on their engagement and wedding day so it is very special that I am able to take their photos as they start their new family. She is such a pretty Mama to be and I am so excited to meet this little one when she is born!  Thanks you Carrie and Brendan for letting me be there as your family grows.

The Genzler Family at Carmen's Photography

This is how far behind I am in blogging.  Here is the Genzler family which was taken back in January. It was a cold wintry day but we ended up having a great time and getting some fun shots of this family.  Thank you Genzlers for being such great sports and taking outside photos when the weather was cold and blustery!  Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

I think it is safe to say I got a little behind on my blogging over the Christmas holiday.  This is a family session I shot during the month of December.  I always enjoy the Fischbach family who have become regulars at my studio.  Thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives!

Amber and Tim's family session at Carmen's Photography

What a privilege it was recently to work with this couple.  Amber and Tim have been married for 6 years but have never had a professional portrait taken. They told me they were married over seas while in the military so they did not have the traditional wedding day portraits.  I can not tell you how much I enjoyed working with this couple who brought their dogs, their family, with them.  We had a beautiful fall day and ended up catching a gorgeous sunset as the sun peaked through the clouds at the end of the session.  Thank you Amber and Tim for choosing me to take your first portraits, I loved every minute of my time spent with you!

The Remily family at Carmen's Photography

This was one of those beautiful fall days when all the color was absolutely gorgeous and my family was amazing to work with.  I have had the privilege of working with little Jack and his parents before so for me this was a great time to "catch up" with the family.  I loved every minute of my time spent with all of you. Thank you Remily's for being so much fun I had a blast!

The Buisker family in Brooking SD

Here was a fun fall session I shot in Brookings SD of a family I have had since they first started their lives together. I had the privilege of taking Matt and Tracey's wedding photos and I took little Abbigail's full first year including her newborn session. So I always enjoy when I get to work with a family every year and watch how their kids grow.  Abby is an inquisitive, bright child who has an easy going personality which I love.  Just looking at these photos make me smile as I remember how much fun I had working with the Buiskers.  Thank you Matt and Tracey for letting me be part of your lives!
