Megan and Josh engagement

Here is a fun young couple from Sioux Falls who have a family of 5 already, 5 dogs that is!  This was a super fun session because not only did I meet Megan and Josh, but their family of dogs as well.  When they told me they wanted their dogs in some of their engagement photos, Megan was worried how the session would go with all the dogs.  But not only were they well behaved, but fun and full of energy as well. I loved working with all of them on this engagement session which had a variety of looks and photos as you will see from this blog!  Here are a few of my favorite from their session.

Tracy & Jeff's engagement

Tracy and Jeff are a couple with a very unique engagement story.  When I asked them what was one of their favorite activities they enjoy doing together, both replied, playing in the park.. As a matter of fact, Jeff proposed to Tracy while playing on the Jungle Gym at the park!  So we all agreed the park was where we were going to take their engagement photos as a reflection of their personalities. I shot this with a retro theme in mind as you will see from my favorite photos from their session. This couple is very laid back and fun reminding  me of the simpler things in life we all sometimes overlook, like picnicking in the park! I can not wait for their wedding which will be August 21, 2010  in Hecla South Dakota.

Jessica and Adam's Aberdeen South Dakota Engagement session

Here is a recent engagement session I took of a couple who will be married next May. I have had the privilege of knowing Jessica since she was a little girl, so it is a great joy to be able to take her engagement photos and her wedding photos next Spring. They brought their daughter Nevaeh with them for a few family portraits as well and what a scene stealer! She was such a cutie who loved having her portrait taken! Kyle and Jessica

Kyle and Jessica are getting married in Sioux Falls SD this September. On the day we took their engagement session, instead of being a sunny SD day, it was actually a misting rain.
