The Serflings

I recently took this family session when James and Jenny brought their daughter Lilly in for her 1 year photos. I had the privilege of taking Lilly's 6 month photos as well and I can not tell you how much I enjoy watching little kids grow up right before my eyes. We took "cake photos" which of course are my favorite. Lilly's session was at 8:00 in the morning so she was not really that hungry to eat the cake, but boy did she have fun playing with it! And throwing it I might add! I do not think I have ever had a 1 year old who had so much fun with her cake! Here are a couple of my favorite photos from their session.

The Ortmeier family

Here is the Ortmeier family who came in to have their family portraits taken. We ended up taking a few outside and a few inside. Since I have know them for most of my adult life, I really enjoyed seeing everyone again. Here are a couple of my favorite shots from their session.

Isla

This little cricket is my youngest Grand daughter, Isla who just turned 1. I of course am quite prejudice because I think she is absolutely adorable, not to mention beautiful as well! And who can resist that 1 year cake picture, complete with a puppy who just had his first taste of sugar! Here are a couple of my favorite photos from her session.

The Carda Family

This family is actually my own. My son Ryan and his wife Amber and thier two girls Rowan and Isla, my daughter Melissa and her puppy Duece, and last but not least, Dan and myself. We decided to take our photos in the great outdoors with all the fall color. Here are a few of my favorite photos from our family session.

Jackson

I have to admit I really do find all babies unique and beautiful. But I absolutely love a baby with tons of hair! Check out little Jackson, could his hair be any more precious? He was brought in by his mom and Dad and for his first photos. What a little cutie and so easy to work with! Here are a few of my favorite photos from his session.

Trash the Dress session

Ok, here is the newest craze to hit the photography industry, a trash the dress session. Most trash the dress sessions are shot of the Bridal couple after their wedding. Maybe a 1 year anniversary or a couple days after their wedding if the weather allows. Senior girls are also using this session after prom for a high fashion shoot. This was my first time branching into this area with a senior who is in of all things her Grandmother's prom dress. Here are a few of my favorite photos from her portraits session.

Tyler and Melissa's Denver Colorado engagement session

Destination weddings! This will be the new item on my menu for the 2011 wedding season. This couple is my first couple where I will be traveling quite a distance for their wedding which will be held in Denver Colorado next June. We took their engagement session this fall in the foothill of the Rocky mountains. Can anything be more beautiful the the couple framed next to the red rock of the mountains? Here are a couple of my favorite shots from their engagement session.

Tate

Here is a little boy who is growing up right before my very eyes. I had the privilege of taking Tate's photos when he was just 3 weeks old and I can tell you he is growing like a weed! In this session, we took a few family shots plus a few fall and yes, Christmas shots! Here are a few of my favorite photos from his session.

The Boer family

I have had the privilege of working with the Boer family several times. I took a few individual portraits of Lincoln and Quinn as well as a few group family portraits. A couple of my favorite family shots were at the start of the session and both kids were being playful with mom and dad. Here are a few of my favorite shots from their session.
